I have finished two paintings that I want to share with you. This first one is a country church in North Carolina that I have entitled "beauty for ashes".  I have been working on it off and on the month of August....sometimes the paintings fly out of me...sometimes they trickle.

I love the rich colors of this church.  This next church is entitled "peace" and is a companion church to "quiet" that I had done previously.  These are silhouette churches and have a different dynamic to them...but a richness just the same.

I want to give credit to my friend, Matt Palco, for giving me the idea to create a companion painting and naming it "Peace"...great idea...thanks Matt!!!
