This one is entitled "refreshed" and is based on Proverbs 11:25 (NIV) "...he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed."

This was one of those paintings that was seconds away from being thrown in the trash! It just wasn't happening...then it just did...and it turned out to be one of my (and other's favorites!!) I love those kind of quirky surprises!

The owner commissioned me to paint this particular corner to capture the wonderful textures and colors and feel of her place. Her furniture is indeed this great color of chartreuse and when you sit in this corner...you never want to leave!!

This is Isabella Methodist Church in Isabella, Alabama (Chilton County). It was built in the 1890's and today it is unchanged, appearing like it did when it was first built. The church currently has 4 members attending.
