This is a corner of a restaurant in Decatur, AL called "The Backe Door". A charming and welcoming neighborhood eatery with wonderful food. The owner commissioned me to paint this particular corner to capture the wonderful textures and colors and feel of her place. Her furniture is indeed this great color of chartreuse and when you sit in this corner...you never want to leave!!
