"Day 5 No Painting today"...

I'm playing catch-up today....

When I'm in my creating zone, I can tend to forget everyday life (I'm a feast or famine kind of girl). My family is very patient with me and gives me a wide berth but I don't want them to feel neglected. Part of my goal in this "project" is to learn by doing...incorporating art and my daily life so I can do "both/and" a little better. I've started out this project trying to get a few more paintings in early on so that I would have a little "surplus", that way I could have some "catch up" days or "whatever days"...today is one of those days. I want to make sure that my family knows that they are just as important to me (actually they are more important)...so grocery shopping and cleaning and washing clothes is on the agenda. When I think of those things in light of serving the people I love, they take on a whole new light (now I still would kill for someone to grocery shop and cook for me...=)...but I do the best I can.

My paints will be there tomorrow...for now the kitchen calls....
