I had a great run/walk yesterday and as I was enjoying some free thinking, one of my very favorite songs came on Pandora; "Make Something Beautiful" by Laura Story:

"All I know to do is lift my hands to you, take all of my life, all of my life and make something beautiful"...

How perfectly she captures the desire of my heart...for God to make something beautiful in and through my life. That was the jumping off point for my painting time.  It was good getting back to my brushes as I painted in my make-shift studio (more about that tomorrow).  It makes me smile knowing that in ALL of my life God is making something beautiful.
