I am starting a project for myself today that will last, well, for 54 days...until April 3rd. I am goaling to paint 60 paintings in 54 days and blog about my process each day. Why you ask? Two-fold actually. I am going to be participating in an art show in April that I want to have enough paintings for that as well as supplying the stores my paintings are in - yea!) and this will also get me in the habit of blogging daily. I did not count Sundays in my paintings day as Sundays are my rest days and I hope to post pictures each Sunday of paintings accomplished that week.
This is going to be a stretch for me as I try to incorporate this into my life as a wife and mom and daughter and friend and share the day to day ups and downs as they happen. There is the thought in the back of my head of public "epic fail" if I don't reach my goal...but just like my dad always says "You never know until you try"!! So with much prayer and planning and supplies on the way, I'm set to begin!
I'm beginning my "project" tomorrow February 1st and will entitle each post by day number and painting number to keep the running tally. I would love any feedback and thoughts that you have...talk to you tomorrow!
