Once upon a time there was a little girl who would watch her mom paint. She would sit and watch for hours.  She was sooo fascinated by all the brushes, paints and the transformation that would bring life to a blank canvas. She thought, "one day I want to do that"...so one day her mom let her try....

This is my very first painting...at the age of 7!  I was already trying to establish an "artist" signature!!  I love this painting because it reminds me of so many things; 

-I love and appreciate the fact that my mom encouraged my creativity at an early age and let me try so many things.

-I love the fact that she kept it all these years and then gave it to me to remind me of our "creative" bond.

-It shows me that yes, I have always been fascinated with color and with contrasts.

-I love it the most because it reminds that by God's grace we are always learning, growing and changing...for the better.
