Thanks to a rainy weekend I was able to stay in a lot and get back to my"brushes"!! I was able to finish the painting that I have been "in progress" on and start another. I have put the after and before photos of my painting entitled "A Lutheran Church" so hopefully you can see a difference....

This was a fun visual reminder for me...often in the process I forget how a painting emerges and how it changes...from whence it began.  

My heart (like I've mentioned before) is in the growth process, and I often forget from whence I've come...how God is changing me day by day, bit by bit. "Snapshots" of where I am (via my journals) provide good reminders that I'm not the same person I was yesterday and by God's grace I'll be in a different place tomorrow.
